On this Tuesday, Atout France, the tourism development agency of France introduced a fresh new social media campaign known as “Winter in France” to increase the number Indonesian tourist visits to France.
A contest holds an important role in this campaign. It provides an opportunity to win a special nine day trip for a four member family. Here, they get the chance to travel around Chamonix, Lyon, Paris and the famous French Riviera. Also, they get to fly business class on Turkish Airlines.
To add, the contest is open to all Facebook users where first they will have to like and follow the Facebook page of Atout France and then on the event page, submit a photo that goes with France in an excellent way with #Francefr, #visitFrance, and #AtoutFranceAsean hashtags on the caption.
Till Oct. 9th, all entries will be accepted and the winners will be announced on Oct. 13. From Dec. 3rd to 12th, winners will travel. Their experiences will be captured and documented to attract more visitors. Winter has been selected as the best season by the agency to travel to France describing it to be is ideal time of the year to bring families together.
To quote Morad Tayebi, the regional director of Atout France Asean, “Christmas time is when French families gather so that’s why we think it’s the perfect moment to promote France to Indonesian families.” Furthermore, there are other celebratory events France has to present, like the La Fete des Lumieres or Festival of Lights held in Lyon.
