ATPI sports events in Australia celebrates one year milestone

ATPIA year since the launch of its dedicated sports division in Melbourne, ATPI Sports Events is celebrating a successful 12 months of growth in the Australian market. Since starting operating in the region last year, the ATPI Sports Events team has taken on a number of new clients, managed events and ensured cost-efficient travel management for a number of high-profile sports clients.

 

 

During 2016, ATPI Sports Events was appointed as an official travel package provider for England’s premiership football team, Arsenal, and its forthcoming tour to Sydney in July 2017. It will also operate as the global official hospitality agency for the 2017-18 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race. More recently the events management company has secured contracts to manage both the business and player travel for the AFL Players Association – the representative body for professional Australian Football League players plus the travel requirements for the state teams for Hockey Victoria, which is the state association for the administration of the sport.

 

 

ATPI Sports Events is part of the leading global travel and events management company, the ATPI Group, which also includes ATPI Voyager in Australia.  Following a successful programme of growth during 2016, the ATPI Group announced that chief operating officer Peter Muller has re-located from the U.K to Australia.
