Avani Fares Maldives Resort will be situated on the Fares Island in the Baa Atoll.
Designed for millennial travelers, it is spread on a 12.4 hectare island that will be natural playground surrounded by a soft white sandy beach.
The US $ 70-million resort is a joint venture partnership between Minor Hotels and Cyprea Group.
The business portfolio of Cyprea Group in Sri Lanka and Maldives includes the operation and ownership of Club Med Kani Maldives Resort located in North Male Atoll.

There will be 200 guest rooms in the upscale Avani Fares Maldives Resort along with standard rooms and a selection of villas with every detailed attention to the well being.
The guest will capture an arresting view of the Indian Ocean from the open plan lobby. The community living space will have the reception, lounge, meeting space, all day restaurants and The Pantry.The Avani hallmark will offer a mix of comfort food and artisanal deli snacks around the clock.
One can reach the resort in 45 minutes by sea plane from Male and 30 minutes by speedboat from the newly opened domestic airport on Baa Atoll.
