The aim of the Daily Post’s Business Awards 2017 – backed by Bangor University – is to find the area’s high-flying firms in different categories.
There are 10 categories for businesses to enter with a showcase awards ceremony on November 30 at Bangor University, headline sponsor and backer of the Business Person of the Year category.
This week we put three categories under the spotlight:
Green Award sponsored by Cartrefi Conwy
The judges will focus on the business or organisation which has demonstrated good environmental or sustainability practice, reducing energy costs, minimising waste or by other means reducing their carbon footprint.
North Wales Tourism Award sponsored by Liverpool John Lennon Airport
Has your organisation helped promote the growth and expansion of the local tourist industry?
Can you demonstrate how you are attracting more visitors to North and mid Wales for days out and longer holidays, business trips, conferences, exhibitions or other events?
Tell us about your commitment to excellence, investment in staff training and development, innovative marketing, and care for the environment.
Business Start-Up Award
Did your business begin trading after January 2015? Since then, have you demonstrated a strong market position with prospects for growth and shown a strong staying power?
Judges will be looking for solid business plans and a determination to succeed.
