BankDhofar’s dynamic presence at Salalah Tourism Festival 2019

For Salalah Tourism Festival 2019, BankDhofar is the gold sponsor of this year. The Festival, which continues till August 22nd will arrange exhilarating cultural and entertainment events and observes Salalah’s unique heritage.

The Bank took part in sponsoring several events including Salalah Hakathon. The event, which happened between 1-3 August, targeted at supporting the youth to let loose their creative minds and take the advantage of their creative ideas as well as solutions. The young developers, coders, graphic designers, data scientists, innovators, students, engineers, entrepreneurs, and scientists assemble together to model as well as build up high-tech smart solutions that would help to transform ‘Salalah City’ into a responsive and smart city.

Salalah Tourism Festival draws huge number of visitors from foreign countries and within the Sultanate each year. The event allows visitors to witness Dhofar region’s unique climate and the cultural heritage and authentic Omani hospitality. Many events and social activities take place in Salalah during Khareef season.
