To meet the growing customer demand Barrhead Travel will create more than 100 jobs. The agency chain already has a workforce of more than 1000 where the destination specialists plans everything from cruise and long-haul to beach holidays and city-breaks.
The total trainee intake of the company will reach to 85 in 2017. There will be appointment of 80 new staff that will hold positions at the Barrhead’s flagship Oswald Street Glasgow superstore additionally to 25 Modern Apprentices this year.
The number of Modern Apprentices being trained in 2018 will reach upto 100 will have a ratio of one apprentice per five employees.
Earlier, this year Barrhead had already recruited 149 people. The role of modern apprentice is basically looking after the sales, marketing, business development, digital and training.
