‘Behind the scenes’ excursions range launched by Celebrity Cruises

A new programme of small-group shore excursions in Europe aiming to offer “behind the scenes, exclusive experiences” has been launched by Celebrity Cruises.

Currently the Celebrity Discovery Collection features four tours across the Western Mediterranean with more addition on a global level.

The line has been designed with both the seasoned wanderer and new-to-cruise in mind and the Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, Celebrity Cruises president and chief executive mentioned that her own recent holiday to the region had acted as inspiration for the collection.

She further added that they were so inspired by the many hidden gems during their time  of exploring the stunning region.

They wanted to offer their guests some truly unique, behind-the-scenes, exclusive experiences; and thus the Celebrity Discovery Collection was born.

A maximum of 24 guests will be featured in each tour. The guests can explore the 17th century underground vault and wine shop in Old Nice before stopping at Michelin-starred restaurant La Colle-sur-Loup for lunch, and concluding in the medieval town of St. Paul de Vence if they board the Celebrity’s A French Day Experience in Nice and St. Paul de Vence excursion.
 

In the line’s Italian Pasta Experience the guests will tour the Martelli pasta factory in Tuscany, followed by a pasta-making demonstration.For the musically-inclined guests can attend a live concert of medieval music at Barcelona’s Basílica de Santa Maria del Pi.
