The morning session was titled ‘Evolve or Die’. At the opening session, Dr Deep Parekh and Polo Looser delivered a ground-breaking speech on the key tools that modern businesses need to manage while dealing with change. Mary Ann Pierce, founder and CEO of MAP Digital brought to the forefront the massive impact of digital technology on all industries. Also, discussed how event planners can take steps for these new technologies to enhance the delegate experience to the end user.
The delegates took a tour of Belfast, a city that has immensely benefitted from continuous investment and gradually becoming one of the trendiest cities for business travelers worldwide.
Titanic Belfast, the world’s largest Titanic visitor experience and Belfast’s political and historical sites like the infamous Crumlin Road Gaol were all included in the tour. To quote Catherine Toolan, Managing Director of Belfast Waterfront and Ulster Hall Ltd, said: “We have a great offering, but there is only one way to truly experience the best of Belfast and that is to visit it.’’
