Berk Communications and Marketing Group, the luxury lifestyle, travel, entertainment and sports division of MWWPR, announced that it has been retained by two luxury resorts in the Maldives: Baros Maldives and Milaidhoo Island Maldives, as each resort’s public relations agency of record. Baros Maldives was one of the first luxury properties to establish the Maldives as a top tier tourist locale, while Milaidhoo is a new boutique resort on its own exclusive island set to open in fall 2016.
As AOR, Berk will be responsible for initiatives surrounding Baros Maldives’ public relations efforts to attract more U.S visitors, along with the launch of Milaidhoo. Berk will handle tasks for both resorts including all media relations in the U.S, consultation on creative programming for outlets at each resort, the brokering of strategic partnerships and more.
