Indispensable for visitors to Germany’s capital: The Berlin WelcomeCard, Berlin’s official city pass, does not only include travel on all means of public transport but also discounts between 25 and 50 per cent at more than 200 tourist attractions.
Since its launch over 20 years ago, the Berlin WelcomeCard has grown to become Europe’s most successful city pass. It comes with a practical guide with an overview of all the deals included as well as a map of Berlin and Potsdam and a plan of the city’s public transport system. The city pass serves the needs of first-time and returning visitors equally well: It combines classic tourist highlights such as Berlin’s TV Tower and new discoveries such as the Computer Games Museum with numerous museums and palaces, guided tours, and boat cruises on the River Spree.
Where can one obtain the Berlin WelcomeCard?
The ticket issued and sold by visitBerlin can be purchased at all six Berlin Tourist Information Offices (Central Station, Brandenburg Gate, TV Tower, Tegel Airport, Kurfürstendamm/Rankestraße, and Europa-Center).
Versions and Prices, from as little as €19.50
The Berlin WelcomeCard is available in eight different versions: The Berlin AB is available for one adult for 48 hours (€19.50), 72 hours (€26.70), and for 5 days (€34.50). The Berlin + Potsdam ABC version (including Schönefeld Airport) is available for one adult and up to 3 children between the ages of 6 and 14. Prices are €21.50 for 48 hours, €28.70 for 72 hours, and €39.50 for 5 days. Children up to age 6 can accompany an adult at no extra charge for both the AB and ABC versions of the Berlin WelcomeCard.
