Ahead of the peak period Olympic Holidays has launched its biggest-ever advertising campaign that will run from today until mid-March.
It will be featuring out-of-home advertising in regional cities as well as digital and press adverts and campaigns with travel agents.
Carl Catterall, head of marketing and digital said that the creative was based on six characters’ own stories of their Olympic island. It was designed to inspire consumers and find the perfect island holiday match with the help of an experienced team.
“My Olympic Island” campaign will run nationally with focus on airport departure areas like Scotland, the north, central, south-east and south-west parts of the UK as well as Northern Ireland.
Till now the campaign was the operators largest expenditure and most comprehensive reach of a single campaign in its 50 year history.
Carl Catterall, head of marketing and digital further said that their strategy for growth under the leadership of our chief executive Clare Tobin was to intrinsically to work more closely with agents.
