Brazil Ministry of Tourism appoints Diplomat Acir Wood Pepper Son as new Director of International Relations

brajilDiplomat Acir Wood Pepper Son assumes office as Director of International Relations of the Ministry of Tourism (Tourism Ministry, Brazil) on January 19.
The ceremony will be held at 9.30 am at the National Secretariat of Tourism Policies (SNPTur).

Acir, who served as cultural advisor to the Embassy of Brazil in Rome will assume
office at the invitation of Minister of Tourism, Gaston Vieira. One of the goals
of the new manager is to attract more foreign tourists to the booming Brazilian
destinations.

The department’s mission is to plan, coordinate and support the activities of
the Ministry of Tourism and monitor the performance of the international
organizations in the negotiation of international technical cooperation in order to
strengthen the national tourism market worldwide.
