According to a research from Travelzoo reported by Bighospitality.co.uk, four in 10 EU residents are worried that Brexit could make holidaying more expensive in the UK. The statistics is based on a data from VisitBritain and Office for National Statistics (ONS).
This might trigger a dramatic drop in foreign tourist arrivals to Britain.
However, some analysts believe that a Leave vote could boost domestic tourism. As European trips would get more expensive if Britain leaves the EU, alternative for domestic tourists would remain to visit local destinations thus triggering domestic tourism growth.
