The annual ranking of Britannia Hotels, which is regarded as largest hotel chains in Britain, this year based on a survey of 4,255 responses, looked at star ratings in the following categories:
Average price paid for a one-night stay (including all room types)
Cleanliness (including bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas)
Quality of the bedrooms (including furniture, air conditioning, heating, facilities)
Bathrooms (including fixtures and fittings, lighting, towels, toiletries, shower or bath)
Bed comfort (including quality of mattress, pillow and duvet)
The scores for Britannia Hotels of the above mentioned criteria were used to produce a general customer score.
It is accounted for the on the whole contentment and the likelihood of recommending the hotel brand to a friend or family member.
