White lustrous pearls reflecting a soft hue of lovely blue sky welcomed British Airways’ daily flight to Hyderabad on Monday, 28 October 2013 at 0435 hours. Embellished with pearls, the aircraft landed in the ‘city of pearls’ adorning its opulent demeanour. With a rich heritage of serving the Indian customers for over 84 years, British Airways is delighted to bring daily service to Hyderabad, offering more convenient travel options to its customers.
The arrival of British Airways’ Boeing 777-200 offering a three class configuration to customers with flat beds in Club World, premium economy, World Traveller plus and World Traveller at the Rajiv Gandhi Hyderabad International Airport was celebrated with a 80 feet tall white pearl necklace marking the launch of its daily direct service to Hyderabad from London-Heathrow.
British Airways always keeps its customers at the heart of the business and is truly excited to launch the daily service to Hyderabad. The additional frequency to Hyderabad will offer better travel options to its customers, who will be able to enjoy the premium airline’s award-winning on-board services, delectable inflight catering as well as connections to over 500 destinations around the world! British Airways has witnessed a tremendous growth in its general capacity from Hyderabad to 40% in FY13 as against the previous year.
With this development, British Airways now operates 48 flights a week from five key cities in India, which include – Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.
