From April 15 to September 25, the Frunch, the Friday lunch offered by visit.brussels, is back again on the grounds of the BIP at Place Royale in Brussels. This tasty and festive weekly gathering hosts three different food trucks each week and is an ideal opportunity to spend time with colleagues, friends, or loved ones. Since the project began in 2014, attendance has been averaging 400 people who stop by to relax each Friday during the summer.
The Frunch is the first Brussels event designed around the food truck concept that offers weekly services. Just a few hours before the weekend begins, this event is very enticing: around the palm trees, bar, tables, lounges and deckchairs, three food trucks out of 22 take turns each week offering local or exotic flavours in this little oasis. Admission is free, and to top it all off, the DJ supplies the ambiance while frenzied table tennis matches and card games take place. Place Royale’s central location can also accommodate workers on lunch break as well as passersby and tourists.
This year, new activities and decor will allow one and all to enjoy this little change of scenery to the fullest each Friday from 12 am to 2:30 pm.
