The fourth edition of annual Tourist Information Centers (TIC) Expert Meeting of the European Cities Marketing (ECM) will be held in Budapest next year on October 26-27, Hungarian news agency MTI reported citing the Budapest Festival and Tourism Center (BFTK).
Hungary, a MICE hub hosted a total of 820 international and 1,999 domestic conferences, the news agency reported based on data from the Hungarian Tourism Agency’s Convention Bureau.
MICE tourists to the Hungarian capital exceed 1.3 million spending approximately HUF 159 billion through their trips.
According to the ECM website, European Cities Marketing is a not-for-profit membership association which aims to improve the competitiveness and performance of the leading cities of Europe by providing a platform for convention, leisure and city marketing professionals to exchange knowledge and best practice and widen their network to perform even better.
