Buildings burn down to the ground by California Wildfires

In the town of Lake Isabella, almost 80 buildings have been charred. Officials inform that 1500 more homes and commercial establishments are still at risk. More than 350 fire-fighters are working hand-in-hand to control the blaze.

 

 

The recent hot weather has caused several wildfires throughout the western United States. Citizens and tourists in California are dealing with numerous wildfires, as the region is facing the fifth year of drought.

 

 

Authorities have ordered the people to evacuate Bakersfield, as the Lake Isabella fire started on Thursday 23rd June. The wildfire has engulfed over 5000 acres of grassland.

 

 

All the roads have been closed and the power in the area has been cut off. The evacuated people have taken shelter at a school.

 

 

No injuries have been reported yet. But many people have ignored the order of evacuation. Thus, some injuries may take place if the fire is not contained soon.
