Romania has emerged as the main source of international travellers arriving in Bulgaria, according to Stela Baltova, who is the tourism minister of Bulgaria as per the media reports.
In the past ten years, Romania has surpassed Germany in terms of the number of tourists visiting Bulgaria, said the Bulgaria official.
Romanians come to Bulgaria not only for the seaside holidays, as declared by Baltova. He also went on to add that these people actually arrive here with the intention of travelling extensively across Bulgaria. And, he mentioned that this year they would try to organize a forum in Bucharest on 30th April where they would expect at least 100 representatives from the tourism sector of both the nations, as declared by the Bulgarian minister.
She said that creating new tourism projects between the Balkan nations would prove to be beneficial not only for Romania and Bulgaria but even for the neighbouring Serbia, Macedonia and Greece.
