The People’s Republic of China and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) are jointly organising the event. The forum is titled Tourism for Peace and Development and the new 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals will be in focus during the discussions. The seventh G20 Tourism Ministers’ Meeting will be held within the framework of the conference. Minister Angelkova received an official invitation to be an observer at the event.
The Bulgarian official will take part in a high-level discussion dedicated to the sustainable development of tourism, which will be moderated by CNN International anchor Richard Quest. The panelists will include high-ranking officials from all over the world.
Nikolina Angelkova, during her visit to Beijing, will sign a memorandum of understanding in the field of tourism between the ministries of tourism of Bulgaria and Argentina as a basis for holding negotiations on cooperation in the field of tourism.
Ms Angelkova is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with representatives of tourism administrations of the other participating countries, too.
