To quote Nikolina Angelkova, Minister of Tourism, Bulgaria, ”we will work to promote the opportunities of Bulgarian tourism in India to increase Indian tourists in Bulgaria.” She held a working meeting with HE. Ms. Pooja Kapur, Ambassador of India to Bulgaria.
The Minister emphasized that the endorsing activities of Bulgaria should be fortified. ”We want to present in India the opportunities for cultural and historical and spa tourism in Bulgaria”, explained Minister Angelkova.
She and Ambassador Kapur talked on the possibilities for development in film tourism in Bulgaria. Many Bollywood films have been shot in Bulgaria at good quality and price ratio. This is a very successful undertaking that invariably impacts the image and advertising of the country and should carry on developing, said HE. Mrs. Pooja Kapur.
Also, Minister Angelkova observed the potential of India to lure investment. Lowest taxes are one of the advantages of Bulgaria. H.P. Ms. Pooja Kapur stated that it is essential to cheer up Bulgarians traveling to India. She highlighted that around 25 million Indian tourists, every year, travels abroad, of which almost half are heading to European countries.
The chances of holding days of Bulgaria in India and Indian days in Bulgaria is often considered, it became absolutely clear from the meeting. Also, it’s planned to put in order a tour of Indian journalists and business representatives.
