Business travel has its own benefits. As per CWT data, travelling for business travel boosts travellers’ creativity and productivity. As per the research, six in 10 travellers feel more creative and productive when travelling for business. Millennial travellers are more likely to feel this way.
In the Americas, 77 percent of millennials said that they felt more creative and productive. Millennials in the Asia Pacific followed close behind. 75 per cent of the millenials indicated that they felt more creative when travelling for business. About 73 per cent said they were more productive. European millennials ranked third. While 58 per cent of them felt creative when travelling for business; 57 per cent of them found that business travel made them feel more productive.
Across all age groups, travellers from Asia Pacific said they had increased creativity (65 per cent) and productivity (64 per cent) compared to travellers from the Americas (58 per cent and 60 per cent respectively) and Europe (53 per cent and 51 per cent respectively).
As per Niklas Andreen, executive vice president and chief traveller experience officer at CWT, travel energizes people, fosters fresh thinking, creates connections.
The research endorses the fact that face-to-face meeting is better and continues to rule the roost as against communication on the cloud.
