In order to educate potential visitors about local experiences they can discover in the country, Honduras starts a new digital campaign. The campaign highlights Honduras’ most beautiful treasures and broad diversity.
The two-minute video creates brand awareness and educates potential travelers of the many curated experiences they can discover in the country.
The title of the campaign is ‘You Can’t Leave Honduras Without Really Knowing Honduras’.
The video is ideated and edited by the agency Saatchi & Saatchi. The video shows a young man Henry visiting Honduras and taking non-stop journey in the country’s famous Bay Islands.
He visits the country’s most emblematic landmarks. He meets welcoming locals who then introduce him to his next Honduran destination.
From enjoying freshly-brewed, Honduran grown coffee in Marcala and touring the Copán Ruins, to ziplining through La Campa and birdwatching in the Río Plátano Biosphere Reserve, Henry tries to do it all.
Emilio Silvestri Honduras Institute of Tourism’s Minister-Director says that the campaign will globally showcase Honduras in all of its beauty and splendor – authentic experiences and hidden wonders waiting to be discovered. He believes that it will scale Honduras’ tourism sector, and set it further apart from other neighboring destinations.
The new tourism campaign will be launched digitally via social media and through public relations efforts targeting audiences in North America, Central America, and select European markets.
