The plane had been flying to Martha’s Vineyard from Boston.
Thereafter it experienced a broken interconnect tube between the pilot and co-pilot seats but then was capable of landing as per Michelle Haynes who is a spokeswoman of Cape Air.
Five people including the pilot were present on board as confirmed by Hyannis Fire Lt. Robert Hennessy.
Passengers were taken off the plane.
Then they were bused to the terminal and accommodated on an alternative flight to the island. Later the plane was towed off the runway.
