Along with its elegant landscaping, Cape Cod is a land of ideal summer temperatures, ranging between lows of about 60 degrees Fahrenheit (17 degrees Celsius) to highs of 78 degrees (24 degrees Celsius).

The amalgamation of beautiful villages, ocean breezes, and fine dining makes Cape Cod attract thousands of summer visitors each year who are interested to escape the big city heat and enjoy the local charm.

In spite of its natural and man-made beauty, delightful climate, and its world-famous cuisine, Cape Cod is principally defined by its relationship to and with the sea. Cape Cod is a land of quaint fishing communities and broad sandy beaches. Although the “Cape” has long been a playground for the world’s elites, its roots remain at sea, and its cuisine is based on the riches of the sea. Its culture is oriented toward the sea.

Cape Cod is a land of marshes and sand dunes, filled with early American history and colonial architecture. Nearby is Plymouth Rock, where the 17th century Pilgrims landed for building a home where they could worship freely and be far from Cromwell’s England.
