Carnival Corporation, last year, becoming the first U.S. company to resume tourist service to the island nation in more than 40 years. Sensing the vast opportunity, the company has announced plans to increase its cruise travels to Cuba as of June 29.
The company has obtained the approval to expand its trips.
‘We are pleased to have the approval to sail to Cuba, this time is our homonymous brand Carnival Cruise Line,’ Arnold Donald, CEO of Carnival Corporation, announced.
Carnival Paradise, which can carry 2,052 passengers, might become the largest ship in the history to dock in Cuba.
“Our emblematic brand Carnival has carried dozens of millions of passengers to the Caribbean during its nearly 45 years of history, and we are excited that our major brand will go to Cuba, one of the most-coveted destinations in the world,” he added.
