The 133,500-ton ship will be the line’s largest vessel ever built along with Vista, which debuted in May and is currently sailing a summer in Europe before arriving in Miami in November.
“The name Carnival Horizon not only reflects the ship’s unique connection with the sea with so many spectacular indoor and outdoor spaces but also the boundless array of options that guests of all ages are sure to enjoy,” said line president Christine Duffy in a press release.
The signature feature of Vista will also grace the top decks of Horizon, the SkyRide, a dueling suspended cycling feature that combines exercise and thrills and takes you on an 800-foot-long track around the top deck of the ship.
Also on board Horizon, just like Vista, will be an IMAX theater, several indoor and outdoor dining and drinking venues, the WaterWorks aqua park, Alchemy Bar and the Seuss at Sea children’s program.
