This week Carnival said that Carnival Horizon, a 3,954-passenger vessel would be home to a brand new unique concept ‘Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse|Brewhouse serving smoked-on-board barbecue and house-made craft beer.
This eatery is the latest on a Carnival cruise ship to be sourced from a partnership between the line and Guy Fieri, the celebrity chef.
Many Carnival vessels already boast of Fieri-themed barbecue outlets that do not possess attached breweries. Fieri-themed burger stands can also be observed on 19 of the 25 vessels of Carnival.
Carnival Vista, the 3,954 passenger cruise-ship is the only other cruise ship with a brewery on board.
It had been unveiled in 2016 and is a sister to the soon-to-be-launched Horizon. It is scheduled to debut in April and will sail out of New York to the Caribbean over the summer of 2018 following inaugural series of voyages in Europe. It would be moving to Miami in the fall in the fall of 2018 for year-round sailings to the Caribbean.
