Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, the 7,000-acre luxury resort and premier golf destination in La Romana, Dominican Republic, is pleased to introduce a new addition to their team of golf professionals. Kelly Sheehan has been appointed to Director of Golf Sales, where she will be able to utilize her strong passion for the game to positively impact the golf program at Casa de Campo. She’ll be working alongside long time Casa de Campo Golf Director Gilles Gagnon, who currently serves as the Director of Golf Emeritus, and Robert Birtel, Director of Golf Operations.

Kelly Sheehan brings more than 14 years of PGA and LPGA professional experience to Casa de Campo. Most recently, she was the National PGA Relationship Manager of the PGA Ambassador Program, where she oversaw all program operations as well as identified, vetted and recruited the most elite of the PGA professionals. She was also responsible for facilitating all conference series as well as providing maximum marketing opportunities for the program in order to drive their business. In addition, Sheehan was the first female head golf professional in the history of Marriott/Ritz-Carlton Golf. As Casa de Campo’s Director of Golf Sales, Sheehan will manage group golf sales for the US and Canada.
As part of the resort’s continuous efforts to showcase its state-of-the-art golf facilities, Casa de Campo will host its 33rd Annual Caribbean International Pro Am Tournament on January 10-15, 2017, and its 43rd Annual International Pro Am Tournament from January 17-22, 2017.
