cathay pacificCathay Pacific’s Airbus A350-900 is configured in a three class layout with 280 seats, comprising 38 Business Class, 28 Premium Economy and 214 Economy seats.

A whole new experience for passengers is now offered with the new seats in all classes, each of which features a new inflight entertainment interface, connectivity, soft products and service equipment that align with Cathay Pacific’s new branding ethos.

Highlights of new seats for all classes:

New Business Class seat

The Business Class for A350 builds upon the success of Cathay Pacific’s award winning long haul Business Class product and introduces numerous enhancements making this a truly remarkable Business Class experience.

The new Business Class and Premium Economy Class seats are designed by Studio F.A. Porsche. Porsche Design products are renowned for their intrinsic sense of premium quality and its expertise for seat ergonomics, functionality and seat comfort.

Retaining the best features of the current Business Class products

The product retains the best features of the award-winning long haul Business Class product: Sculpted seat wings for a balanced sense of privacy and openness; window
facing outboard seats for a great view; a large cocktail table that allows the passenger to keep items within easy reach and provide an additional working surface; as well as a seat that tracks forward to provide a great companion travel experience.


Fully flat bed

The seat transforms into our most generous Business Class bed. The side storage space becomes part of the bed when closed for a generous bed surface regardless of the passengers’ preferred sleeping position.

Colour and trim

The cabin interior is designed to best manifest the Cathay brand ethos through the use of colours, selection of material, and choice of textures and finishes. Essence of the Cathay brand is embedded in the definition of every detail, from the seat dress covers, walls of the aircraft interior to the finishes and paints of galley and lavatory interior.

For the first time, a harmonious design was thoughtfully carried out through Business, Premium Economy, to Economy cabins to ensure a seamless visual experience from front to the back of the aircraft interior, and from cabins to lounges.

New bedding

The new bedding complements the new Business Class seats to enhance inflight comfort and present a fresh look. The use of linen-like material suggests contemporary home and the green trim subtly speaks the Cathay brand.
