CEB mounted two Tacloban-Cebu humanitarian flights yesterday (November 11) and four Tacloban-Cebu humanitarian flights today (November 12), to recover stranded passengers in Tacloban.

With no electricity and communications in Tacloban, guests are manually accommodated on these humanitarian flights, on first-come, first served basis. Priority is being given to Cebu Pacific ticket holders from November 7 to 25.

CEB’s Tacloban team is doing its best to accommodate guests in an orderly manner, considering the large number of people at the airport. The airline is working closely with the government on the resumption of normal operations to Tacloban airport in the soonest possible time.

On the other hand, Busuanga airport operations are back to normal. We are operating three Busuanga- Manila flights and one Busuanga- Cebu flight today, to transport stranded tourists in Coron.

Meanwhile, the following CEB flights today have been cancelled because of Typhoon Zoraida:

Guests affected by flight cancellations due to the typhoons may rebook their flights for travel within 30 days, free of charge. They may also reroute to the nearest alternate airport, or opt for full refund or full travel fund.

As a reminder, CEB passengers with domestic and international flights from November 7 to 15, 2013 to or from the Visayas region, Bicol region, Palawan, Mindoro and select Mindanao destinations still have the same option to rebook or reroute their flights without penalties, or get full refund or travel fund, even if their flights have not yet been cancelled.
