Cebu Pacific flight bound for Manila keeps 77 passengers waiting in Dubai Airport

emergency landing 1Cebu Pacific flight bound for Manila was stranded in Dubai with 77 passengers as the plane was cancelled because the assigned aircraft needed extended servicing due to technical difficulties.


Cebu Pacific flight 5J 7945 was supposed to leave Dubai at 11 p.m. on 05.11.13, but was cancelled due to technical difficulties.
The passengers were left unattended as none of the ABS-CBN News’ Dubai Bureau that no representative from the airline staff had attended to them in the airport.
Guests were provided with lounge accommodations and meals said a Cebu Pacific spokesperson. Passengers will be assured full refund or full travel funds he added.


The spokes person apologised for the inconvenience the delay caused but pointed that safety is the airlines major concern.


The flight is expected to leave the airport by 6 a.m. Wednesday, 06.11.13.


The Cebu Pacific launched its Manila-Dubai flight last month. It is the budget carrier’s first long haul flight.


However, even though passengers faced inconvenience in the airport at least they escaped the toils of an emergency landing or worst a crash.
