CFS_516_aspect5x4Celebrate the season at Allium and Four Seasons Hotel Chicago with special dining and sipping experiences It’s the most wonderful time of the year and Allium at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago celebrates the holidays with a number of festive events. From chestnuts roasting to a new twist on Afternoon Tea and Allium’s annual festive dining, ‘tis the season to savour and celebrate.
Chestnuts Roasting in Allium
The weather outside may be frightful but inside it’s delightful by the fire at Allium where roasted chestnuts are served complimentary between 5:00 and and 7:00 pm from November 23 through December 30, 2013. The chestnuts are a perfect pairing to Allium’s seasonal hot chocolates and cocktails such as the Jack Frost martini and the Mexican Hot Chocolate.

Holiday Cocktails
Allium makes spirits bright this season with special holiday cocktails and hot chocolates. Sip and savour by Allium’s roaring fireplace a festive selection of drinks including:

Mexican Hot Chocolate with guajillo, abuelas churros and dulce de leche; USD 11.00 or USD 16.00 with a shot of tequila
Haute Chocolate with spiced marshmallows, pumpkin truffle; USD 14.00 or USD 20.00 with a shot of Grand Marnier
Jack Frost with Stoli Vanil vodka, Godiva white chocolate liqueur, peppermint schnapps, housemade white chocolate peppermint bark; USD 15.00
Thanksgiving Day Feast

Allium celebrates Thanksgiving Day with a bountiful feast. Guests will enjoy a variety of stations including a fruit de mer ice bar, charcuterie and cheeses, carving station and Asian-inspired station, as well as traditional Thanksgiving favourites such as Amish turkey breast with giblet gravy and cranberry tangerine relish; roasted pumpkin risotto, sage and marjoram stuffing; and maple and spice glazed sweet potatoes with homemade marshmallow crust.  Delight in seasonal inspired desserts such as sweet potato flan, sweet corn cremeaux with caramel popcorn, pumpkin tart with candied pumpkin seeds, mini lava cakes and more. Children will enjoy their own Turkey Train Buffet.Seatings from 12:00 to 6:30 pm USD 150.00 for adults and USD 55.00 for children between ages 5 to 12
Not Your Aunt Sally’s Holiday Afternoon Tea
Traditional tea meets Allium’s modern version on a sharing tower featuring everyone’s favourite Afternoon Tea snacks on one side and Allium’s favuorites on the other. Enjoy traditional tea offerings such as cucumber watercress and smoked salmon sandwiches, deviled eggs and scones paired with lobster cannoli, BLT push ups and homemade pop tarts and cake pops.Tea is USD 39.00 per person and is offered daily through December 29, 2013 excluding holidays.
A Toast to the Season

Allium is bubbling over with holiday cheer with a special Holiday Bubbles menu of select Champagnes by the glass including Dom Pérignon Brut, USD 35.00 per glass; Laurent-Perrier Rosé, USD 32.00; and Veuve Clicquot Brut, USD 23.00.Join the festivities at Allium with a four-course menu featuring selections such as chestnut and apple soup with bread dumpling, butternut squash risotto, whole roasted all natural beef tenderloin and festive dessert selections.USD 85.00 for adults and USD 25.00 for children ages 5 to 12
Allium will also offer a la carte dining featuring a variety of holiday-inspired dishes
Christmas Holiday Feast

Christmas Day brings a holiday feast to Allium featuring bountiful food stations including a fruit de mer ice bar, carving board selections, a taste of Asia and seasonal-inspired favourites.  The holiday fountain dessert station will showcase a variety of festive desserts such as sweet potato crème brulee, chocolate “Egg Not Cream Puff,” mini chocolate lava cakes and more. Kids will also enjoy their own buffet as well as visiting with Santa Claus. Seatings from 12:00 to 6:30 pm USD 150.00 for adults and USD 55.00 for children between ages 5 to 12
New Year’s Eve Dining

Allium rings in the New Year with a festive five-course menu featuring: Chilled Maine lobster with sea urchin, cauliflower, Champagne, sunchokes, petite chard Roasted wild sturgeon with applies, Pernod, caviar, french kiss oyster cream Fennel risotto with foie gras torchon, blood orange, crispy duck leg, endive Wagyu ribeye with “aligot” potato, smoked mushrooms, black truffle, huckleberry bordelaise Dark chocolate cremeaux with milk chocolate chantilly, mango, yuzu, crispy crepe The New Year’s Eve Menu is USD 95.00 per person.
