China southern Airlines Flight CZ 8367, bound from city of Wuhan to Harbin, had to make an emergency landing just minutes after the takeoff. The commercial flight was forced to land as a deranged passenger threw money in the air and tried to enter the cockpit to take a flying lesson.
After five minutes from the take off, a young man started repeatedly to yell, “I want to fly.” The man also hurried down the aisle, towards the cockpit and tried to force his way into the restricted area.
Flight attendants tried to pacify him initially. But, after failing to do so, with the help of fellow passengers, the attendants pinned him down and tied the man to his seat. The attendants also had to tie his hands behind his back.
After the captain was reported of the hostile situation, 20 minutes later, he decided to pull an emergency landing in the Zhengzhou city.
The disturbed passenger was later taken into custody by the airport police, after the flight landed. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation on him for throwing money and disrupting service on an airborne flight.
