The inimitable location of Dandong has made it a popular tourist attraction among tourists from around China and also for the international tourists, who often swarm to Dandong to feel the beauty on both banks of the river while enjoying the unique culture there.

The development in travel and tourism industry is accounted for 47 percent of the target set in a three-year plan issued by the government, ministry figures showed. To boost domestic tourism, China aims to install or upgrade a total of 64,000 toilets for tourists from 2018 to 2020.
