This time, this majestic glass walkway would be capable of suspending tourists at a height of nearly 4,476 feet above a rocky gorge on Mount Langya in the Hebei province.
Visitors would be able to walk several hundred feet along the 5,015 square feet see-through walkway that ends in a gigantic viewing platform. The glass bridge is large enough to accommodate at least 200 people at a time.
Tourists would manage to peer down from above the walkway would be greeted with a beautiful bird’s eye view of one of the most amazing national forest conservation areas of China.
Also, they would be able to catch sight of a cave halfway up Mount Langya that is enriched with a series of stalagtites and stalagmites.
This bridge is among a long line of towering transparent structures that have been constructed in China.
Last year, the country’s 1,400 feet long glass-bottomed structure was suspended at 1,000 feet above ground level in Zhangjiajie Park in the central Hunan province in China. This had to be shut down in a matter of two weeks owing to the overwhelming number of visitors.
