The Quebec Tourism Industry Alliance (The Alliance) declares partnerships with C-trip and Tuniu, China’s two leading travel companies which is a part of the economic mission led by Tourism Minister Julie Boulet. These associations will allow Quebec to break through the growing market of 1.4 billion people gradually.
In return, it will help Quebec’s tourism industry in constant improvement in receiving Chinese customers in the coming days. The partnerships include creating new routes; bring Quebec Original’s offerings more to the forefront and increasing their accessibility and conducting joint marketing campaigns that will help to attract relevant clientele.
In the economic mission to China led by Ms. Julie Boulet, Quebec Minister of Tourism and group of tourism stakeholders are also taking part. While at the forefront with Mr. James Tang, C-trip Senior Vice President and Mr. Martin Soucy, President and CEO of the Tourism Industry Alliance of Quebec will also be present.
To quote Martin Soucy, President and CEO of the Alliance, ‘’ It is with great humility that we begin these collaborations with Tuniu and Ctrip. The data and expertise of our new partners will help us refine our knowledge of Chinese customers. We will be able to propel the offers of experiences that will make the difference to win the heart of the Chinese traveller.
Through our participation in Minister Boulet’s mission, we are laying the foundation for long-term strategic cooperation relations in order to increase arrivals to Quebec from China.’’
