In a video where one can see an African man saying that temperature in China was fairly high and that he wished to go back to “bishu” (means run away from heat wave), his hometown went viral, the topic of “go to Africa to bishu” is doing the rounds in internet.
Few of the Chinese said that they were thinking of visiting Africa to escape from the scorching sun in China.
As per online travel agency lvmama.com, this year summer, the number of people who pre-booked their travel tickets to Africa almost doubled in comparison to last year. Chinese visitors within the age bracket of 25 and 40 and earning handsome were the comprised the main visitors in Africa. Chinese tourists preferred the countries like Mauritius, Kenya, Morocco, South Africa and Tunisia to explore.
Temperature this summer in many Chinese cities surpassed 35 degrees Celsius.
Nevertheless, countries in Southern Hemisphere of African countries and eastern and southern African countries are at an elevation of over 1,000 meters which keeps the temperature salubrious in comparison to China in summer.
Side by side, Belt and Road Initiative, development of frequent air routes between China and African countries have increased in recent times. Few African countries have also eased their visa policy to lure more Chinese tourists in the continent.
