A collection of positive tripadvisor comments of the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa in Malta uploaded throughout 2016 underline that there is still a place for olde world charm and good service in today’s fast-paced hotel business.
Corinthia Palace prides itself on classic service and traditional values, values set out by founder and chairman Alfred Pisani when he and Prince Phillip opened the doors of the Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa as his first hotel in 1968. It is the original flagship of what is now a collection of luxury hotels around the world.
The Corinthia Palace Hotel & Spa Hotel is located in the middle of the island in a lush green garden setting and is built around a 100-year-old restored villa, which is the hotel’s main dining venue.
Guests appreciate the quiet location and five-star service judging by fan mail appearing on tripadvisor from international guests. The hotel has received more than 1,000 reviews from the tripadvisor community, of which 865 rated the hotel as excellent and 355 as very good. Below is a selection of their accolades:
General Manager David Woodward praises the fantastic staff who always go the extra mile for guests: “We strive to provide the best possible service and I am delighted that my staff never fail in that.
“Our philosophy is simple: good service underpins everything we do. A hotel can have all the hi-tech gadgetry and high-end facilities desired by 21 st century guests, but it is nothing without unparalleled service at its core.
We treat all guests like returning family, after all this was our chairman’s family home, and because we have so many long-serving staff, we know most of our regular guests by name.”
The hotel is frequented by foreign dignitaries and Commonwealth heads of state, most notably The Queen in 2015 when the hotel was selected to host the traditional Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM).
The Corinthia Hotel & Spa is tripadvisor’s 2016 Travelers’ Choice.
