British passenger shipping company Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) will organise the first Fleet Parade and Regatta event in 2021. The company is currently building momentum for the forthcoming event. The event will take place in Rotterdam on August 28th, 2021 with the company’s fleet of seven ships in port.
The parade will include the company’s new additional cruise ships Amy Johnson and Ida Pfeiffer. Both the latest cruise ships will join together for a special parade. CMV’s classic and traditional ships will also sail in convoy in both directions, up and down the Maas River. This unique event will also celebrate Port Rotterdam’s 25th Anniversary.
Mike Hall, Marketing Director, Cruise & Maritime Voyages said in a recent press statement that the company is thrilled to see that many people have started thinking about what to do when the harsh times caused by coronavirus pandemic pass and travel restrictions are lifted. He mentioned that the unique celebration in Rotterdam next August is proving popular. He also added that the company is encouraged by new bookings for the special cruises in 2021 featuring this unusual event.
According to the company, CMV’s 2021 U.K. summer program offers 166 different cruise holidays from 12 U.K. and Irish ports.
