Cohn & Wolfe has been appointed as the next PR agency of Tourism Western Australia in order to increase the visibility of the state as one of the top destinations in Asia-Pacific. This would be an extension of the PR services that Cohn & Wolfe is offering Tourism WA by driving maximum publicity for Western Australia within Indonesia.
This extended contract will effective from January this year and will include Singapore and Malaysian markets besides Indonesia in the coming six months. The chief executive of Tourism WA David Lowe said that they were really keen on working with Cohn & Wolfe in creating enthusiasm among avid travelers to explore Western Australia and make it their preferred location.
To quote Mr. Lowe, “Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia are important markets for Western Australia, adding a collective $484 million to the State’s economy and attracting more than 231,000 visitors in the year ending September 2016. Western Australia offers many extraordinary tourism experiences, some of which can’t be found anywhere else in Australia, and in some cases the world.
For example, we have the world’s largest collection of wildflowers; Australia’s whitest beach at Lucky Bay in Esperance; the only two horizontal waterfalls in the world in the Kimberley; swimming with the world’s largest fish, the whale shark, in Exmouth; and the largest outdoor gallery in the world at Lake Ballard. Western Australia is one of the largest states in the world and its untapped beauty and culture caters to a wide range of tastes and budgets of discerning travelers.”
