Collinson Group has come to collaboration with Traveltech Lab, the travel technology incubator. The company made an announcement about it today. Traveltech Lab is a global hub and well-known for its novelty in the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors, which connects start-ups with recognized industry experts.
This collaboration will eventually give Collinson Group and its affiliated clients access to a vibrant network of travel technology start-ups. Collinson Group brings insight. The commercial knowledge is based on 25 years’ experience of consumer travel behaviour and programs with other companies like British Airways, Cathay Pacific, InterContinental Hotels Group, MasterCard, VISA and American Express respectively.
Organizing pitch evenings for start-ups and semi mid level companies looking for financial support in the areas of interest to Collinson Group and its clients, brokering introductions and organizing a ‘Future of Travel Technology’ seminars would be seen in the three-year agreement respectively.
Collinson Group has a rich history of innovation in travel industry. It has introduced Priority Pass, the world’s first airport lounge membership programme. Also, it was the first company to sell travel insurance directly to UK consumers and to bring in travel insurance kiosks at airports through Columbus Insurance. Collinson Group has also initiated new loyalty programmes and earning and redemption platforms for airlines and hotels. World’s first digitally delivered, real-time travel assistance service has been recently introduced by the Collinson Group. This includes lounge access for travelers suffering delays at airports worldwide.
Collinson Group will work with Traveltech Lab start-ups to recognize and care for a new generation of ground-breaking travel products and services, building on its existing products and relationships.
