In Ingolstadt, birthplace of the German Beer Purity Law, your beer-related dreams are about to come true in the shape of a beer fountain.
Further highlights are the Historical Festival of Pure Beer from 22 to 24 April 2016 and the 500 years of the German Beer Purity Law Ingolstadt 1516–2016 festival from 3 to 5 June 2016.
Some 100 Bavarian brewers will be demonstrating the art of traditional brewing in the heart of Munich from 22 to 24 July 2016. Come and enjoy warm hospitality and great beer and experience typical Bavarian joie de vivre.
Traditional festivals such as the Oktoberfest in Munich, the Cannstatter Wasen in Stuttgart and the Franconian Beer Festival in Nuremberg will also feature special celebrations. Make sure you’re there when Germany celebrates its amber nectar.
If you’re looking for a little culture besides all the festivities, then a detour to the Beer and Castle Route is well worth your while. German gemütlichkeit – that warm feeling you get inside when sharing good food in good company – comes together with art, culture and nature to create a successful blend of enjoyment, history and beer.
