To attract more international visitors, Quang Nam’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is all geared up to focus on community-based tourism by adding more travel content about Vietnamese province.
Sustainable tourism model would help to preserve the cultural identity of the province as confirmed by Dinh Hai, the department director. He also said that showcasing the heritage sites is equally important. Several community-based tourism products were created in the past few years that talk about the daily lives and stories of local communities efficiently.
Tra Que herb village in Hoi An’s Cam Ha commune, Vina house space architecture complex in Dien Ban rural district, Dhroong and Bhoong villages in Dong Giang rural district, Phu Ninh lake eco-tourism, homestay familiarity in My Son, and night tours of Cu Lao Cham island are some of the successful products of this place.
Besides, cooking classes where travelers can learn the way to prepare and cook authentic Hoi An food under the guidance of expert local chefs are being offered by several tourism companies.
Also, tourists can indulge in night tours to Cu Lao Cham Island from Hoi An now. Also one can enjoy special art performances, camp-fire activities at the beach, folk games, and accommodation options ranging starting right from homestay facilities with local families to tents pitched by the beach.
