Gusto Restaurant by Heinz Beck is noted for its outstanding work in the kitchen industry. It is a signature restaurant at Conrad Algarve and the restaurant is excited to announce it has been awarded a Michelin Star at the prestigious 2018 Michelin Star gastronomic guide in Spain and Portugal.
The winners were announced in Tenerife at the Ritz Carlton Abama Hotel, where the awards ceremony took place. Since opening, the five-star Conrad Algarve in Quinta Do Lago, has continued to exceed expectations with its stunning culinary offerings, which have now been officially recognised by one of the most coveted guides in the global food scene.
Daniele Pirillo who is famed for his cooking techniques under renowned Chef Heinz Beck at the La Pergola restaurant (three Michelin stars) in Rome, arrived at Gusto in Conrad Algarve in 2014 as a resident chef.
Of the announcement, the General Manager of Conrad Algarve, Katharina Schlaipfer commented that the achievement of this Michelin star reflects the outstanding work that has been consistently developed by the entire Gusto team. It is a fantastic team, dynamic and very dedicated.
Heinz Beck, known as one of the undisputed masters of culinary science, has been the consultant chef at the Gusto restaurant since its opening in 2012.
The team combines the best local and international ingredients and ground-breaking flavours with a Mediterranean influence, all served up in the stylish and contemporary setting of Gusto Restaurant.
