Construction to begin on $450million-worth Sunshine Coast theme park

Sunshine CoastConstruction work is going to commence soon for the ACTVENTURE theme park located on Sunshine Coast that is worth as much as $450 million.


Since mid-April, an application for earthworks on the site of Steve Irwin Way had been submitted. A spokesperson for Sanad Capital was scheduled to approve these earthworks in the late July or early August.


And, the earthworks at the site would commence in the last quarter of the year.


Bradley Sutherland who is the CEO of Sanad Capital has announced that the bulk earthworks would be started as soon they receive the approval from Sunshine Coast Council.


Sanad Capital has already compiled a list of all the companies from inside Sunshine Coast for commencing with a bidding process for the earthworks.


Three executives have been appointed to the advisory panel supervising ACTVENTURE. Zoe Zenas who is the CEO of Thinkwell Group, Whitewater president and CEO Geoff Chutter as well as Fredrik Jonsson who is the managing partner would be serving a three-year renewable term on the panel.


Mr. Sutherland mentioned that he was glad to have the trio as part of the panel.
