The Convention Centre Dublin announces first conference for 2026

dublinAfter successfully bidding against Moscow and Brisbane the Convention Centre Dublin( The CCD) will be hosting the International Conference on Coordination Chemistry (ICCC) in 2026. The conference in Dublin will be attracting more than 1,500 delegates.

 

 

The CCD has confirmed its first event The biennial International Conference on Coordination Chemistry (ICCC) for 2026.  In the international chemistry circuit it is the most prestigious and the longest standing, it is expected that the delegates will be attending events at The CCD and Trinity College Dublin. This will garner more than  €2m to the Irish economy.

 

Sylvia Draper the Chair of the Organising Committee said that the bid was  a testament to the cooperation and resilience of the Irish Chemical Research Community. It will demonstrate in the real way third level institution are creatively building the country’s global network post Brexit.

 

 

Stephen Meehan, Chief Executive of The CCD was delighted to be chosen as the host venue for ICCC 2026, it is a great win for Dublin and The CCD and she welcomed the inorganic chemistry community to the venue.
