The Corsair Hotel to open in Fall 2019, in historic Uptown New Orleans. LeBlanc+Smith’s first project – the boutique hotel will feature 15 rooms, including four suites, a restaurant with an adjoining lobby bar, and a pool bar.
This is the newest addition to the LeBlanc+Smith’s portfolio, which includes Sylvain, Meauxbar, Barrel Proof, Cavan, and Longway Tavern.
Its interior design is by Sara Ruffin Costello and landscape architecture by John Gray and Gray Gardens – incorporating the flavours – cultural, historic, and others.
Hotel guests will get a strong sense of the terroir of Uptown New Orleans, home to arguably the most underrated culturally and architecturally significant parts of the city.
Hotelier Robért LeBlanc said, “The Corsair will be a hotel for New Orleans, by New Orleans.”
LeBlanc is a New Orleans native, with vision for providing deeply entrenched southern hospitality so that all feel at home in the Corsair.
Guestrooms will feature views of St. Charles Avenue and Uptown, custom-designed and antique furniture, luxury bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi, flat screen televisions, a locally sourced minibar, and walk-in showers and clawfoot tubs stocked with custom bath and body products.
