The state police reported that crash involving multiple vehicles caused injuries on Interstate 55 in Illinois prompting the officials to shut the road.
The roadway was covered in black in ice north of Farmersville covering both the northbound and the southbound lanes. There were patches of snow and ice in South of Farmersville.
Monday morning saw several accidents across Wichita, Kansas, some of which occurred on Kellog, K-96 and Interstate 135, however, no serious injuries were reported.
After a trailer attached to truck partially flipped over a concrete overpass barrier the authorities had shut down the southbound lanes of I-65 on Columbus, Indiana.
Chris Dolce, weather.com meteorologist said that snow and some ice will even impact the South Monday night into Tuesday and the main impact from Inga through Wednesday will be to travelers.
According to Dolce.Tom Kassens Inga’s final chapter will be along parts of the East Coast, where snow is expected on Wednesday.
