In the two-day conference of tourism industry and catering officials hosted by the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts, there were participants from all over Croatia who discussed current issues concerning the tourism and hospitality sectors.
Nenad Sepak, chairman of the HOK’s Catering and Tourism guild said that his association is working on an initiative to include in the curricular reform that 70% of the education process for future workers in the hospitality sector would be practice and 30% would be theory. Exceptional changes are expected from such changes.
Joso Smolic, the chairman of the Chamber of Trades and Crafts of Sibenik-Knin County welcomed the tourism industry representatives.
